Note that there is also a 2024 Accord Hybrid, but we’ll just discuss the gasoline-only model on this page.
Trims and Powertrain
The standard equipment packages for the ‘24 Accord are split between two trim levels: LX and EX. Under the hood, they have a 1.5-liter, turbocharged 4-cylinder and continuously variable transmission (CVT). This powertrain produces 192 horsepower. The EPA has estimated that both trims will achieve fuel economy ratings of 29 mpg city/37 mpg highway.
Standard Features
The Accord is defined by smooth contours and a fastback-inspired roofline. The front fascia has an aluminum hood, a gloss-black mesh panel overtop an active shutter grille, auto on/off LED headlights, and razor-thin horizontal LED daytime running lights.
The base trim, the LX, sits on 17-inch silver-painted alloy wheels and comes with the following standard features: remote start, a self-opening trunk, a security system with remote entry, power exterior mirrors, Smart Entry With Walk Away Auto Lock, push-button start, a customizable 10.2-inch driver information interface, automatic climate control, and a 12-volt power outlet in the center console. The EX gets a power moonroof, heated front seats that are power adjustable (10-way for the driver’s seat, 4-way for the passenger’s seat), a second automatic climate control zone, heated power side mirrors, and pewter-painted alloy wheels.
Advanced Driver Aids
Nearly all of the Honda Sensing safety and driver-assist technologies can be found on the base-level LX, including auto high-beam headlights, collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, a driver attention monitor, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and road departure mitigation. In the backseat, a rear seat reminder will help ensure that no kids or pets are left behind. Buyers of the EX get an extra set of eyes with the addition of a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic monitor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The 2024 Accord’s infotainment system is managed via a 7-inch color touchscreen; it includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, SMS texting, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth. The only distinguishing factor is the sound system. While the LX receives a 4-speaker 160-watt system, the EX moves up to an 8-speaker 180-watt version.
