2024 Honda Passport for Sale or Lease in Capitol Heights
2024 Honda Passport
Although it shares quite a few attractive attributes with other Honda models, the Passport has a distinct personality and unique practicality. Adventurous folks and those who want extra space without getting into too large of a vehicle find it to be ideal. This five-passenger midsized utility vehicle shares a platform with the Pilot and is positioned between that model and the compact CR-V.
There are a few changes for 2024, including the introduction of the Black Edition, which joins the Passport lineup as the most loaded version. The TrailSport now gets General Grabber all-terrain tires and an off-road suspension, as well as adding Diffused Sky Blue to the choices in its exterior palette. In every trim, the center console has been upgraded with additional storage area.
Trims and Mechanical Specs
The 2024 Passport comes with standard all-wheel drive and is offered in trim packages called EX-L, TrailSport, and Black Edition. Their 3.5-liter V6 engine puts out 280 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Each trim has the same EPA-estimated fuel economy: 19 miles per gallon in city driving and 24 mpg on the highway. A properly equipped Passport can tow as much as 5,000 pounds.
Standard Equipment
The EX-L has proximity keyless entry, push-button start, three zones of automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats, auto-on/off LED headlights, wireless phone charging, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a moonroof, heated exterior mirrors, three USB-C charging ports, a single USB-A data port (in the front console), a power liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback. The TrailSport raises its cred on unpaved surfaces thanks to its all-terrain tires and off-road suspension; its equipment list grows with LED fog lights, rooftop rails, power-folding side mirrors, all-season floor mats, orange interior contrast stitching, and orange ambient LED lighting.
This is the first model year for the Black Edition, which reverts to the EX-L’s roster of features (it gets regular tires and floor mats and the standard suspension) but with a special dark-themed appearance. It also adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a heated steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, auto-dimming side mirrors, second-row climate controls, red interior contrast stitching, and red ambient LED lighting.
Honda Sensing Safety Aids
Honda Sensing, the automaker’s high-tech collection of driver-assist technologies, is installed on every 2024 Passport. Its features consist of automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Every Passport trim uses an 8-inch touchscreen for multimedia management. The standard infotainment features are Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth (hands-free phone and audio streaming), HD Radio, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The TrailSport and Black Edition also get navigation and voice recognition; only the Black Edition gets a Wi-Fi hotspot. The EX-L and TrailSport both have a seven-speaker 215-watt sound system, while the Black Edition is loaded, getting a 540-watt system with ten speakers.
