Trims Levels and Mechanical Details
The trio of trim levels for the 2025 Civic Hatchback are called Sport, Sport Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid. The strictly combustion Sport gets its power from a 150-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The two higher trims go hybrid by pairing that engine with two electric motors for a total output of 200 hp and 232 lb.-ft. of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drivetrain complete the big picture. The EPA estimates that the Sport returns 30 mpg around town and 38 mpg on the highway, while the two gas-electric trims get an efficiency gold star with their rating of 50 mpg city/45 mpg highway.
Noteworthy Features
The Civic Hatchback starts strong with the most affordable yet well-equipped Sport, which provides a host of standard amenities that make it a standout in its class. Those features include proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, single-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped shift knob, manually adjustable front seats, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, a 7-inch driver information display, two USB-C data ports, heated side mirrors, automatic LED headlights, sport pedals, and intermittent windshield wipers.
The Sport Hybrid increases comfort and convenience with heated front seats (with power adjustability for the driver), a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a folding rear center armrest with cupholders, and variable intermittent windshield wipers. At the top of the list, the Sport Touring Hybrid adds the luxury of leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, wireless phone charging, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an overhead console sunglasses holder, and side mirrors with turn-signal indicators.
